A huge trip crossing the immense American landscape from north to south through the largest national parks: Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Zion, Bryce Canyon, then, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas Valley Death, crossing the Sierra Nevada from Yosemite Park, and finally San Francisco, the most European of the American cities!

Day 1
Arrive in Jackson Hole late afternoon. Check in to the hotel in the city center.
Day 2
Jackson Hole – Yellowstone National Park, the oldest national park in the world. Discover the great geysers of Yellowstone Park.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, the home of bison, grizzly bears and wolves
Day 4 -5
Yellowstone – Grand Teton National Park at the foot of the majestic Grand Tetons chain, with its three characteristic peaks rising to over 4000 m altitude.

Jackson Hole – Salt Lake City
Day 7
Salt Lake City – Zion National Park landscapes of orangey-red sandstone, emerald pools and the high cliffs
Day 8
Zion National Park: hiking "musts" of Zion National Park: Angels Landing and the Narrows.
Day 9
Springdale – Bryce Canyon: colorful monoliths. |

Morning stroll to watch the sunrise over Bryce Canyon at Sunrise Point and Capitol Reef via Boulder, taking the amazing Burr Trail.
Day 11
Trek of your choice along the Grand Wash, Cassidy Arch and Frying Pan Trails, and descent through the Cohab Canyon
Day 12-13
Capitol Reef – Canyonlands National Park
Day 14
Arches National Park: the kingdom of natural sandstone arches (there are nearly 2000!).
Day 15
Crossing the Colorado River Road then taking the White Canyon route to Monument Valley, Navajo Indian territory
Day 16
Page / Lake Powell
Day 17
Grand Canyon. Walk along the high path on the south bank of the Grand Canyon until sunset.
Day 18
Grand Canyon: sublime descent of the South Kaibab Trail. Crossing to the Indian Garden oasis and continuing along a level path to Plateau Point.
Day 19
Tusayan – Las Vegas by Seligman, historic capital of the famous Route 66.

Las Vegas – Death Valley – and California, discovery journey to the West and California
Day 21
Mono Lake, one of the largest volcanic caldera lakes – Ghost Town of Bodie – Yosemite (California)
Day 22
Vernal and Nevada Falls – Little Yosemite Valley – Climb to Half Dome

Day 23
Visit Mariposa Grove, a grove of giant sequoias. Arrival in San Francisco.
Day 24
Visit the city, no holding back!
Day 25 – 26
Return flight.
